KMK Optometry was founded on the principles of empowering education and lifelong learning. Each year the entire KMK Optometry team gathers to learn and celebrate the accomplishments of team members. This year KMK Optometry recognized 4 KMK team members for exceptional performance in their areas of expertise. 

2019 KMK Optometry Instructor Of The Year

Dr. Ryan Fenska was named the KMK Optometry 2019 Instructor of the Year. This award is based on Optometry student feedback from all the KMK Campus Connect Live Lectures for Part 1 Board Review. This is Dr. Fenska’s second time earning this award; the first was in 2017. Dr. Fenska is known for his empowering lectures. He has developed a unique way to connect with students and simplify one of the the hardest aspects of boards: optics. His dedication to the KMK educational style is inspiring and has helped affect the lives of Optometry students for over a decade. 

2019 KMK Optometry Rising Star

Dr. Charlotte Ablott received the recognition of KMK Optometry 2019 Rising Star. This award is also based on Optometry student feedback from all the KMK Campus Connect Live Lectures for Part 1 Board Review. Dr. Ablott was recognized for helping make a positive impact in the lives of Optometry students this past year. Her upbeat, positive personality is contagious and a key aspect of motivation for this exam. 

2019 KMK Newcomer Of The Year

Dr. Bobby Saenz was named the 2019 KMK Optometry Newcomer of the Year. Dr. Saenz’s unique ability to connect with Optometry students and simplify the key concepts in an engaging yet easy to understand manner is the main reason for this award. This award is also based on Optometry student feedback from all the KMK Campus Connect Live Lectures for Part 1 Board Review.

2019 KMK Optometry Social Crown

Dr. Amanda Williamson was awarded the 2019 KMK Optometry Social Crown award for her motivational and engaging posts on social media. Her dedication to providing Optometry students with a behind the scenes look at the KMK Campus Connect process while also tossing in occasional motivational items via stories and posts was recognized by Optometry students across the nation. 

This year’s 2019 – 2020 KMK Optometry Campus Connect Live tour is scheduled to begin in November. Here is to another great year of helping Optometry students #dominate their review.
