Dr. Kendra Null

Dr. Kendra Null graduated from Emory University in Atlanta, GA with a B.S. in Biology and graduated summa cum laude from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. She completed a residency in ocular disease and low vision rehabilitation at the Kansas City VA Medical Center. She previously served as the Externship Program Director and an adjunct faculty member of New England College of Optometry and Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University while practicing at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center. She has also taught students and residents as an adjunct faculty member of the University of Missouri St. Louis College of Optometry while practicing at the Kansas City VA Medical Center and the Warrensburg VA Clinic.
Dr. Null is currently in private practice at Discover Vision Centers in Blue Springs, MO. She has authored and co-authored posters presented at ARVO and SECO and has co-authored educational and board review textbooks, including KMK Update, KMK Booster Course textbook, and the CEO-ECO Addendum to the KMK Part 2 PAM/TMOD Review Guide. Dr. Null is passionate about providing evidence-based education to students and practicing optometrists. She serves as the COPE administrator for continuing education courses presented by KMK Educational Services, LLC.
She is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry and serves as a consultant for the Accreditation Council on Optometric Education (ACOE). She has received the Department of Veterans Affairs Commendation Award and the Department of Veterans Affairs Special Contribution Award for her dedication to patient care and for her work on the VA Optometry Service Directory and VA Optometry Residency Directory. Dr. Null is a member of the American Optometric Association.

Dr. Paul Hammond

Dr. Paul Hammond is a consultative optometrist specializing in glaucoma and corneal disease in Minneapolis MN with North Suburban Eye Specialists, a multi-specialty referral practice. He attended the Illinois College of Optometry, where he graduated with honors, was inducted into the Beta Sigma Kappa and Tomb and Key honors societies, and received the Clinical Excellence Award.
Following graduation, Dr. Hammond was selected for a post-doctoral residency at the #1 ranked ophthalmology hospital in the country, the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute at the University of Miami, where he received medical and peri-operative training in several ocular disease sub-specialties. Dr. Hammond is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, a member of the American Optometric Association, the Minnesota Optometric Association, the Ocular Surface Society of Optometry, and the Optometric Cornea, Cataract, and Refractive Society.

Dr. Elliott Brafman
Research & Development
Dr. Elliott Stephen Brafman earned his undergraduate degree from The University of Florida in 2011, where he graduated with magna cum laude. During his time there, he obtained his bachelors degree in Microbiology. Following graduation, he attended The New England College of Optometry with the Presidential Scholarship and graduated in 2011 in the top 5% of his class. In each of the four years, he was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honors Society.
At the end of June 2016, he completed an ocular disease residency program at The Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida, where he was hired following residency as a full time optometrist. Dr. Brafman currently manages and treats patients with extensive ocular disease and manages pre and post-op cataract, LASIK, and corneal transplant cases. In addition, he is a masked examiner for the CITT trial. He also represents the Optometry department at monthly quality assurance staff meetings. Dr. Brafman is a member of the American Optometric Association and is currently applying for Fellowship to the American Academy of Optometry.
