General Information

First, check to make sure that you are using the email address associated with your KMK account.  If that is correct, try resetting your password from the profile section of your KMK account.  Need more help? Please contact us. 

KMK offers review courses designed to meet the needs of all kinds of students.  Some students are highly organized, independent and prefer to study on their own schedule.  While the majority of the nation prefers a guided plan to make sure they are on track with their review. KMK has more options for Part 1 now than ever before. Choose the plan that is right for you!

Our team is happy to help with any and all questions you have including content questions, how to questions and any others.  Simply email us at or message us on Facebook®.  We respond to questions in the order that they are received, normally in 24-48 hours.  The only exception to that is during times of extremely high volume.   

Every account will list an expiration date based on the purchase date.  However, this date is really a default setting.  KMK is committed to supporting you and providing access to your course until you have successfully completed your exam.  This means you never have to worry about your course expiring prior to your exam. 

It also means that if you have not had a chance to take your exam by your expiration date or if you are unsuccessful, we continue to support you and provide access until you have passed, all at no additional cost to you.  Simply email us a screenshot of your score report and we will take care of the rest.  We are here for you as long as you need us as part of the KMK Optometry Forever Promise®. 

All of the components of KMK’s review courses are designed to be used together and are interdependent so that they provide the student with the optimum learning experience.  Neither the text or the online course is designed to be a complete unit in and of itself.  Each part is complimentary and essential to the other parts. For this reason, the textbooks are included in the course purchase.  There is no option to purchase the online course or the textbook individually. 

I have a content question.  Can someone help?

Feel free to email us with your content questions.  They will be forwarded to our Chief Medical Editor, Dr. Kendra Null, who will respond in the order questions come in. You can also use the KMK Q&A search bot DOM. DOM is a keyword search bot that scans our content question library to provide you with faster results. 

If DOM doesn’t know the answer to your question, simply contact KMK Support at  Your question will be sent to our Chief Medical Editor for help and the answer will come directly to your inbox.  All questions are answered in the order that they are received. 

All corrections are listed under the corresponding video unit.

Account sharing is expressly a violation of KMK’s Terms and Conditions.  Sharing accounts puts users in jeopardy of losing access to their KMK courses.  No refund will be provided in instances of account sharing.
