KMK has changed in a BIG way!   We wanted to take a moment to point out some of the new, awesome changes we have been working on! ?

Let’s start with the new Learning Management System.   We took the learning tools students love the most to the next level!  The new LMS provides students preparing for optometry boards with even more organization, video content, and test questions.

Not only is the redesign easier to navigate, but the organization of review tools is cleaner than ever before. For example, now users can save images and flashcards, quickly toggle from basic to advanced flashcards, and more efficiently navigate to specific topics (e.g. Cornea) within a subject (e.g. Ocular Anatomy).  All of these changes were created for a specific purpose – to allow Optometry students to control every aspect of their learning experience.

The KMK videos, optometry student’s favorite feature, are now all available in HD.  The newly designed video player is sleek in design and allows students the ability to control video speed (e.g. .5x, 1.5x, etc) while quickly navigating forward and backward with 15 second jump buttons.  Students can track progress in each video unit and are tested immediately after each video with KMKs proven study approach.

” Students constantly say, we love the videos, and we want more and more videos. We are excited to announce that we have recorded all new videos (every single minute is new) and we now have 35+ hours on our site. Our videos have never covered this much material to help optometry students. ”

– Co-Founder & CEO, Dr. Kyle Cheatham

Signature Coaching Gets a Boost

KMK’s fasting growing course, Signature, has also been updated with new, innovative features.  The course is now highly organized into a clear 3 phase tactical study plan and includes all new Booster courses® to help students elevate their review in the areas of Optics, Pharmacology, and Ocular Anatomy/Disease.

Part 1 Crash Course Evolved For Better Review

KMK’s most popular add-on course, the Part 1 Crash Course, now includes 20 hours of fast-paced review optimized for last minute review.  This course is available starting March 1st, and allows students the opportunity to review the most critical concepts on Part 1 as many times as they wish in the weeks leading up to the exam.

Smart Technology For Smart Students

The most recent innovation available to all optometry students is KMK’s new search bot, DOM. Dom is designed to search KMK’s knowledge center and present solutions to student questions. This database was developed based on student submitted questions (for the past 3+ years) and created by KMK’s Chief Medical Editor, Dr. Kendra Dalton.

Not Even Close To Finished ?

New upgrades will be made to KMK Part 2 course modules over the course of the next year, including a new TMOD only section, Part 2 Crash Course, enhanced Image Library, and new Mini and Full case studies.
