2017 marks a benchmark year for Optometry students nationwide. KMK is thrilled to be able to offer Optometry students another awesome feature for review.  Announcing the KMK Optometry app! The KMK Optometry app version 1.0 is now available for all current KMK Signature and Part 1 subscribers!  The app, available in the iOS and Google Play stores, will feature all the KMK Part 1 Flashcards, and all 36.5 hours of KMK Part 1 video review.

The new app will track your progress and sync with the online system. After you complete a section, video unit, or save flashcards in the app your progress will automatically be saved to your online profile.  KMK flashcards can be used offline, allowing you to review material even if you do not have WiFi access or a cellular connection.  Your progress will automatically sync the next time you establish a connection.

Similar to online, all KMK videos can be viewed at 1.0 speed, 1.5 speed and .5 speed for faster review. Study strategies for each video subject are also available in the app.

“Our team is so excited to be able to push this new app live and make it available for Optometry students,” said KMK Co-Founder & CEO, Dr. Kyle Cheatham. “We have been wanting to release an app now for 3 years, and I am so excited this is now a reality for Optometry students.”

Updates are planned for the app periodically over the course of the next 3 months. Updates will include direct access to the new Optometry Student Performance Dashboard, KMK Precise® Practice test questions, KMK Booster® Course Series, KMK Part 1 Crash Course® and more.

“This is a monumental day for KMK and Optometry students,” said Brandon Osborn. “Our team is excited to release this resource for students all across the nation. We have so much more coming in the next few months.”

KMK Evolve Practice® tests will not be available in the app because they are intended to mimic an actual exam. Optometry students are encouraged to take these tests on a computer and in an area where there are limited distractions. Results and performance will be available to review in the Optometry Student Performance Dashboard.
